Mom of the Year

Remember how Charlotte's insurance pays $1,200 a month for a shot to keep her out of the hospital with RSV?

Yeah, I would be the mom who forgot to order and schedule that shot. Here's hoping that a day late isn't too late. We've only been doing this for, what, five months now?

I can't be trusted with anything! :)

  1. Amanda, We have been late for ALL of Eloise's shots because of illness... the first shot we had in our fridge for 10 days before it was able to be administered; the 2nd shot was almost 2 weeks late. Our ped. told us that there is about a week extra protection.

  2. Don't beat yourself up, Amanda. With two kids to care for, there are times when you will forget something. You are a terrrific mom with a lot on your shoulders. Just keep plodding away and the Lord will bless you and your family for your efforts. As far as I'm concerned, you ARE mom of the year!!!!

  3. That's weird Amanda, I don't have to schedule Bobby's! Well, I guess I schedule his pediatrician appointment, but they order the shot and we get a call each month confirming it. Of course because Bobby started his a month early in the fall, they're trying to gyp us one in the spring.
