CHOP

So we finally made it last night. The transport team arrived at Chester County around 11:30 and by midnight we were in our way down to CHOP. By 3:30 this morning she was all settled a I wandered aimlessly until I found a bed to sleep in.

This morning the doctors rounded on her and she is already set up to have a milk scan done this afternoon to evaluate her reflux. Her swallow study will probably be done tomorrow or the day after. We'll keep you updated on results and progress. I forgot to bring the camera adapter, so sorry, no pictures for the time being.

Thanks for all the help we've received and for the prayers.

Ok, I really need sleep now... Even I can tell I'm not making any sense.

  1. Glad that you got there safely-- Hospitals sure act in their own time frame don't they? Sending prayers that all goes well with the swallow study and that this part of the journey goes by quickly and smoothly. I hope Charlotte swallows very well for them and gives them good data to go on.

  2. Know that we're thinking about our little girl and praying for her. Caleb is doing great....such a mature little guy. When he asks about you and Peter we let him know that he'll see Mommy and Daddy this weekend. He told me last night that "Mommy went into the city." So he knows he'll see you and Pete soon. He and little Bella became fast friends last night & had a wonderful time.Love you! Mom
